I find interesting the idea of having mirror images that face each other, however, I think this technique should not be applied to every single picture. It is advisable to verify it fist. Sometimes, it is better to look for another alternative.
This technique about mirror images, and this picture particularly remind me of a picture I took because when I printed it was sort of doubled. Probably I moved and accidentally I came up with an artistic photo.
